50 it is today. 50 not out, says a friend. Another, calls me ‘budha’, another wishes me well. Some ‘bove 50 already, some racing there. I’m chillin’ cool, having, nice thoughts, wondering is it really 50, it sounds just about; like a fast running man or that action scene, that starts, stops, swiftly, never looking back, never weary. Life’s about taking hits, me taken mine, I’m only wondering, how many I’ve left in mine. You all scare me when I see, you too soft, ‘cmon, take some hits, even flat-face drop. Like a Ninja falls a building tall. No mystery, liveth me, no big dreams, at 50 me think, it’s the same, like it was at 10, 20, 30, ‘n 40. I pray He let that great man go, waiteth me, for my leader, my hero, my light. That man in jail. That mighty Knight. Me at 50, me thinks about, the sacrifice of our Prophet, his men about, giving their lives and toil for us, praying us meet him, crossing all dust, this sand, this fire, this life, this misery. Oh Allah join us all in that Garden of Bliss. Where there is no pain, no grief, no longing, no distance, ‘among the ones we love, the ones we adore, the ones who are near, the ones gone far ’afore. Me says salams, me gotta go. A new moon rises, me’s been called. SubhanAllah 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
